Although people are raised to believe that evolution is an established fact, not one scientist, lecturer, or teacher can prove it. The theory of evolution is still just that; a theory. No scientist knows how life began! The only model of origin that is supported by all the data that we see around us and through our microscopes is that of Creation and Intelligent Design. It is not enough to disregard this simply because of its religious significance.

It is important that we realize that there is literally no scientific evidence whatsoever for evolution. It is simply a belief system. People believe in evolution because they trust those responsible for dispensing this information. This trust is misplaced. If we are to be honest with ourselves we would acknowledge that most of our beliefs in this area, upon which we have based our entire adult lives, are the result of nothing more than what we were taught as children.

It is important to note that science itself is not dependent upon evolution. None of the technology that we have today is the result of any evolutionary premise. Metallurgy, chemistry, biology, geology and so on, do not require evolution to be true in order to be legitimate scientific methods. Evolution is a belief system that tries to make sense of those questions that stir in us all: who am I, where have I come from, and where am I going? Questions that are filled with emotion and motives because our origin defines us.

Make an informed decision. Ask anyone who you hold to be an authority in this area to actually prove evolution to you. They will not be able to. Has anyone seen one species evolve into another? No! Has anyone demonstrated evolution in a laboratory? No! We encourage you to do further reading and research it for yourself and to watch the video series that we have online here. It is one of the most amazing journeys you will ever undertake.

Christian schools and churches are constantly coming under pressure to accept some form of evolutionary thinking in order to be more accepted by society. But all this does is undermine the Bible and the need for a Saviour. Christianity, Creationism and the book of Genesis is a scientifically supportable world view that has no need to make excuses. The Christian community has a right to believe the Bible as it is written. A lack of knowledge about what evolutionary science can and cannot prove and not knowing the difference between fact and fiction is what can weaken one’s faith.

To be a Christian means to be a follower of the Lord Jesus Christ! Paul, in the book of Romans chapter 10 verse 9, says that in order to be saved one has to be able to declare Jesus as Lord and believe that He is raised from the dead. In the Gospel of Mark, chapter 10 and verse 6, Jesus said - ”But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female.” Now, if you call yourself a Christian but don’t believe the things that Jesus says then you’ll have to come to the realization that there is a difference between just calling yourself a Christian and actually being a disciple of Jesus. If you don’t believe His words then you don’t really believe who He is. And if you don’t believe who He is then how can you really be a Christian? Creation is not a side issue, it directly affects your salvation.

Evolution doesn’t have the answers. Christians don’t have to compromise their faith and themselves but can take their place as ambassadors for the Truth and the Light of the world – Jesus Christ.
